Exciting progress continues at The Cove as we move through the winter months!
Throughout July, Evans Built achieved several significant milestones.
The team completed the roof sheeting and roof plant deck, marking a crucial stage in the building’s construction. Floor and wall tiling progressed, reaching up to level 3 and joinery installation advanced, extending up to level 4. A major accomplishment was the completion of all internal wall framing, including level 6, setting the stage for further interior work. Externally, the rendering of apartment balconies up to level 4 has enhanced the building’s aesthetic appeal.
As we enter August, the momentum continues at Comino. Levels 1 and 2 are nearing completion, with final paint being applied and carpet installation underway. Evans Built is set to begin their quality and defects management well ahead of schedule, showcasing their commitment.

Moving up the building, Level 3 sees carpentry fix off commencing, with painting to follow. On Level 4, tiling continues and will soon be followed by stone installation. Painting has begun on Level 5, with joinery installation on the horizon. Level 6 will be fully glazed by month’s end, with wall and ceiling sheeting, setting, and sanding to follow.
Externally, the building is further taking shape with aluminium screens starting installation. Balcony tiling will commence on levels 1-2, adding those finishing touches that make The Cove so distinctive.
A major milestone this month is the pouring of the concrete pool shell – another step closer to realizing the luxurious lifestyle awaiting future residents.
Evans Built remains on track for construction completion in January, with settlements to follow in February. The Cove is rapidly transforming from vision to reality, and the attention to detail at every stage is evident.
