June 2024 Construction Update for Comino
June & July Outlook, at Comino
By the end of June, we will reach a major milestone with the completion of the structural roof steel and roof sheeting.
Following the roof sheeting, the external façade work will commence in July, and scaffolding will start dropping in August.
The pool has now been excavated, and the concrete shell is scheduled to be completed in July.
Internally, we will begin installing the two lifts in June with OTIS as our supplier and installer.
Over the next month and a half, we will see significant progress on Levels 1 to 6.
Recently completed Stage 1 Cove Corsica Pool
For Levels 1 and 2, we will complete carpentry fix-outs, wet area wall tiling, and services fit-off.
The final paint will be applied to the units, and the eastern terraces will receive textured soffit finishes. Additionally, core holing for balustrade posts will be undertaken.Joinery and stone benchtops will be installed on Level 3, along with the completion of floor tiling.
On Level 4, joinery installation will proceed, along with waterproofing and bedding of tiled wet areas.
External glazing installation will take place on Level 5, followed by internal walls sheeted, set, and sanded. Waterproofing of wet areas will also be completed.
Level 6 will see wall framing for internal walls constructed, services roughed in, and glazing sub-sills installed.
